Ah a musical intellectual, ur kind is rare...

Yes, Mangalore does have a ton of good solo singers, the only problem being that it might take forever to listen to all of them and its a 4 day fest so I hope you do understand...

We dont have poetry this time but you could try your luck at Creative Writing.

Hope to see you at the event!!

Isn't Battle of a bands a group music competition? then why add eastern and western group singing? Can't a band go n perform one song as a group competition? Nd why is there no pencil sketching? U can even add couple making competitions n mini football in informals.. v do tht at NITK every year.. nd even a personality hunt and u can crown Mr nd Miss Decafest.. We thoghht Fr Muller would have solo singing as they did some yeas back..

@ Dr David... As Papa Roach once sang "It's never too late to live your life,
The time is now, it's do or die
It's never too late to live your life,
The time is now, it's yours and mine"

So please do feel free to participate in the informal events which are open to PG's n staff provided we get a bunch load of entries. And yes, it is the 10th anniversary of the undergrad's!!

@ Anonymous #1 from NITK...

Phew.. talk about keeping all ur eggs in one basket... the music events have been split for the simple reason of providing variety n keeping in mind the attention span of a "normal"(clinically variable) student...

And yes, we do too mourn the loss of solo singing, which was perhaps the most sought after event after Mangalore Idol : )

@ Anonymous #2... We assure you that Decafest is 100% student friendly provided the code and conduct of all participants are in accordance with those of our institution...

If everyone does their part, then as Rancho said "AAL IS WELL"

C u at the fest!!
